The new year is ahead. Which city shall we go on a trip to next year? At the end of the year, the South China Morning Post (SCMP) has organized the best Destinations to Visit in 2020′ recommended by world travel experts. Here are 10 of them.

Bhutan, referred to as the world’s last Shangri-La (utopia),” was selected as the best destination of 2020 by a rough guide of UK travel destinations. Bhutan, a small country located in the Himalayas, is famous for its natural scenery. Bhutan strictly limits the number of tourists in order to preserve its natural environment. This makes it the only country in the world that contributes to reducing carbon dioxide. Bhutan also announced that it would declare a ‘100% organic country’ starting next year and completely ban the use of herbicides and pesticides. It is explained that it is the best place to visit in these days when awareness of environmental issues is increasing.
2. Boston (USA)
Rough Guide also picked Boston, Massachusetts, USA as one of the best places to travel in 2020. Next year marks the 400th anniversary of the arrival of 102 British Puritans’Pilgrim Fathers’ in 1620 and forming a group. The exact location they arrived at is Plymouth, 60 kilometers southeast of Boston.
Los Angeles, the City of Angels features some of the country’s most eclectic cuisine and dozens of highly acclaimed restaurants. Away from the revitalized downtown area, the Malibu and Santa Monica beaches provide sun, sand, and surfing, while Venice Beach offers close-ups of the city’s most unique residents.
